Birthday: October 1st - Seattle, Washington

Family stats:  Husband, Ken; three grown children, Kara, Christin and Jeremy; three grandsons, Preston, Clayton, and Noah

How I met my husband: At a family church camp in Turner, Oregon, in Junior High

Nobody knows that: I love riding horses

Education: Graduated from Redmond High School, received a B. S. in Nursing

How I became a Christian? A Sunday school teacher in Crescent City, California Foursquare Church explained the salvation message when I was seven years old

How I came to be at Smart Solutions Church? The Lord called us to pastor Smart Solutions Church in 1986

The best thing about being a Christian? Knowing that God is in control, and He’s working everything in my life to make me more like Him

Favorite movie: Old Yeller

Favorite place: Central Oregon first, England second

Favorite food:  Salad

How I spend my days off: Cleaning, jogging, making jewelry, reading, spending time with family

My funniest experience: Answering the telephone in my most suggestive voice, and instead of my husband, my brother-in-law was on the other end

Personal project I can’t wait to finish: Wallpapering, painting

My first job: Waitress in Redmond café

Best childhood memory: Cattle drives in the Strawberry Mountains with family

What I will ask Jesus when we meet?: I think I will be speechless

My prized possessions: I’m drawing a blank on that one

Spiritual gifts: Discernment, administration, leadership

A time when I felt very close to God: When I was given a blood transfusion after the birth of my first child, and had a reaction. I knew that there was a chance that I would die, I had a conversation with God, and had great peace.

I would love to meet: Mother Theresa, family that I have waiting for me in heaven

I would appreciate prayer for: Balance in my life, power and courage that comes from being filled with the Spirit

What I would like to say to the people of Smart Solutions Church: Don’t stop short of pursuing all that God has planned for you. There’s nothing in this world that compares to that.
